Delete your account
Applies to the Unharam app and unharam.com
You can permanently delete your Unharam account and everything stored with it. There are two ways to do it — you do not need to install the app.
Option 1 — In the app (fastest)
- Sign in to Unharam on the web or in the mobile app.
- Open Settings.
- Scroll to Delete my account.
- Confirm. Your account and data are removed immediately.
Option 2 — Ask us by email
If you cannot sign in, email machchhargita@gmail.com from the address on your account, with the subject "Delete my Unharam account".
We will verify the request and delete the account within 30 days, and confirm by email when it is done.
What gets deleted
- Your login and profile (email, name, password hash)
- Every transaction you imported or entered
- Budgets, savings goals and category settings
- Saved zakat calculations and giving records
- Your workspace and any invitations linked to it
- Assistant conversation history
What we may keep, and for how long

Deletion is permanent. We cannot restore an account or its data
afterwards. If you want a copy first, export your transactions from
Settings → Export data before you delete.
